Department of design:

            The department of planning and construction affairs is a professional unit that has been established for the purpose of designing, surveying issuing maps in a standard manner based on the national and international norms in accordance with the commitments and instruction of high president of the Islamic republic of Afghanistan.

This department is responsible for estimating construction and infrastructure projects of the authority with construction and economic skills with the best quality, lowest price, and the shortest period of time in order for growth and development of the country.

On the other hand, the duties of design department can be summarized as follows:

  • Assigning and board for determining and sketching the project area.
  • Technical and social survey of projects as soon as possible.
  • Preparing and presenting projects proposal for the purpose of expressing and sharing opinions with other departments.
  • Preparation of engineering plans for the projects.
  • Preliminary estimation of planned projects.
  • Technical cooperation as needed with relevant departments until the completion of projects.
  • Establish the necessary coordination for the effective implementation of projects and other related matters.
